These pages are to do with rethinking Artificial Intelligence (AI) from a Reformational Christian perspective. AI has become fashionable as a major force in the 'developed' world today, to which many things are sacrificed, not least the future climate. AI has huge implications for the economy, for art, for authorship, for law, for friendships, for language use, for design, for logic, for health, for the natural sciences, for analysis of scenes, for transport and many other things.
Prof. Stuart Russell gave four Reith Lectures on AI in December 2021 and these started this sub-site. The Reith Lectures Discussion Group has been discussing them in 2022, and hoped to formulate a fundamental rethink of AI, which neither rejects nor accepts AI, but listens, affirms, critiques and enriches, as is being accomplished for economics.
